Own ConnectLTB, a modular surface-to-downhole connectivity system that standardizes interfaces, reduces rig-up complexity, and shortens flat time across rigs and product lines. Define installation standards, qualification test plans, and phased rollout into existing fleets in collaboration with process, quality, and operations teams.
Jan 2023 – Sep 2024
Led cross-functional development and commercialization of a rig-agnostic, Zone-1 certified surface automation system for mud-pulse downlinking. Planned prototype builds, lab testing, and international field trials, achieving ~99% downlink success and ~98% correlation while enabling remote operations and reduced crew exposure. Deployed across land and offshore rigs under budget and on schedule; contributed to SLB Bronze Award semi-finalist “Autonomous Directional Drilling with DD40”.
Mar 2019 – Dec 2022
Owned quality systems for a mud-motor manufacturing center, including ISO 9001:2015 recertification, CLMS rollout with high compliance, and internal/supplier audits. Led non-conformance management, structured RCAs, 3rd-party failure analyses, and Lean/VSM projects. Authored and maintained 30+ CLMS procedures covering non-conformance control, supplier quality, QA metrics, internal audits, production scheduling, traceability, training, and business continuity.
Aug 2013 – Mar 2019
Managed rapid-response NPI projects that resulted in commercialized downhole monitoring gauges (CTS6000 cable-to-surface, xt150-to-surface, REDACoil slim gauges, discharge remote base gauges).
